Ladan Bosso wants Ifeanyi Ubah's concentration against Kano Pillars

FC Ifeanyi Ubah coach Ladan Bosso has urged his players to ensure full concentration when they battle Kano Pillars at the Sani Abacha Stadium on Wednesday.

The Anambra Warriors have only picked a draw from their seven away matches this season and they would be seeking to improve on their away form in Kano.

And the gaffer, who led them to a 3-0 home win over title holders Plateau United, is hopeful they can consolidate on their recent progress against Ibrahim Musa's men.

"The win against Plateau United was just the catalyst we needed to restore confidence in the team," Bosso told media.

"Now, we have to translate that home form into the away games as we face Kano Pillars in another big game.

"We have prepared well for this game and we know Pillars are a very tough team with good players. Getting a result will require being totally focused, commitment and playing good football.

"I believe that we can do it come Wednesday by playing our brand of football to get a good result there."

He further blamed their inconsistent run of form on their 'not befitting' current position but is tasking his players to work hard in improving their place on the log.

“Our only problem since the league season started is that we have not managed to remain consistent. We have not managed this type of performance before now.

"I want to appeal to the players to concentrate on what they are here for and try to ensure that we are at the place we ought to be on the league table.

“Our present position in the league table is not befitting for us if we are serious with our desire to qualify for the continent at the end of the season.

"We must do something fast about it to ensure that we remain consistent over a long period of time."
