Kakamega Homeboyz forward Noah Wafula is set to join Ugandan Premier League champions Vipers SC, the club has confirmed.

The speedy winger has been with Homeboyz for only eight months after joining the side from former champions Tusker FC but according to club chairman Cleophas Shimanyula, the player is on his way out.

“We are in talks with Vipers. They have expressed interest in signing him and if we agree on everything he will go. So far talks are positive,” Shimanyula told Goal on Tuesday.

“We are done 98% and the deal looks that it will go through. As Homeboyz, we cannot stand in the way of a player, who wants to move for greener pastures and Vipers have said they will come back again with an improved offer.”

Noah Wafula has previously played for AFC Leopards.
