‘It’s coming home’ – Nigerians get behind England after Sweden win

The Three Lions secured a World Cup semi-final spot for the first time since 1990 and the west Africans have joined them to revel in the landmark

Nigerians have joined England in celebrating their 2-0 victory over Sweden in Saturday’s quarter-final fixture, believing they can go all the way to clinching the most coveted title in football.

Harry Maguire and Dele Alli headers in each half of the game sealed the Three Lions' spot in the last-four of the 2018 World Cup in Russia.

And Nigerians, via Twitter, have congratulated them on their win in Samara.
