ISL: Marcos Tebar returns to Delhi Dynamos

The Spanish midfielder makes his way to familiar surroundings...

Indian Super League (ISL) outfit Delhi Dynamos have announced the signing of midfielder Marcos Tebar ahead of the upcoming season. 

The Spaniard returns to a familiar setting, having played a key role in the Dynamos' run to the semifinals in the 2016 season. He then left for FC Pune City in the 2017-18 season where they lost out to Bengaluru FC in the semifinals. 

He made 17 appearances for Pune, tallying a goal and two assists.

Now, the holding midfielder has made his way back to Delhi as they look to better an eighth-placed finish from last season. 

“We are extremely happy to have Tebar sign for the club. He is someone who knows the club well and loves playing for the club so that is the passion that we want from our players. He’s coming on the back of a fantastic season and we are hopeful he can replicate his performances this year as well,” Dynamos Head Coach Josep Gombau said.
