In-form SuperSport United striker Bradley Grobler oozing with confidence ahead of Orlando Pirates clash

Goal spoke to the South Africa international, who has a knack for scoring against the Buccaneers

SuperSport United striker Bradley Grobler is relishing the prospect of facing Orlando Pirates this coming weekend.

Matsatsantsa are set to travel to the Orlando Stadium where they are scheduled to face Bucs in a Premier Soccer League (PSL) match just weeks after knocking them out of the MTN8 tournament.

Brockie is heading into this encounter brimming with confidence having netted three goals in his last two competitive games for United.

"It will be a difficult match against a good team. I think they have changed their style of play since we last played them," Grobler told Goal

Milutin Sredojevic's side will be targeting their second successive league win having defeated Black Leopards 2-1 in Polokwane two weeks ago.

"They tend to play ball possession football now and they did very well against Black Leopards," the 30-year-old marksman continued.

Matsatsantsa went into the current Fifa international break having recorded five wins and one draw in their last six games in all competitions.

Grobler was part of the South Africa team that drew 0-0 with Libya in the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon) qualifier in Durban over the weekend.

"It is always tough coming back from an international break because it can interrupt a run of good form," the former Ajax Cape Town frontman added.

Grobler is keen to continue his scoring form against Soweto giants having netted three times against Chiefs in an MTN8 semi-final tie.

Furthermore, the former Goztepe SK forward has hit the back of the net six times against Pirates during his PSL career.

"Well, as a striker once you score your first goal of the season it boosts your confidence, and you become hungry for goals," he explained.

"At the moment I am confident and I will be hoping to score, and help the team win," Grobler concluded.
