Iheanacho, Seri, other African stars delighted to end pre-season in 'a good way'

Majority of the continent's stars capped their preparations for the upcoming season with games on Saturday

African stars including Fulham's new signing Michael Seri, Leicester City's duo Kelechi Iheanacho and Wilfred Ndidi, Crystal Palace's Pape Souare are ready for the 2018-19 Premier League season.

The new English top-flight campaign kicks off on August 10 while other leagues including La Liga and the Serie A begin the following weekend.

And the players have taken to social media to react after playing their last pre-season games on Saturday.

Seri is ready for his first Premier League game with Fulham after completing a summer move from Nice.

Iheanacho confirmed his readiness for the new league season with his fourth goal in his third and final pre-season game for Leicester City.

Asamoah was in action as Inter Milan ended their International Champions Cup campaign with a 1-0 victory over Lyon.

Fulham midfielder Neeskens Kebano played his side's last friendly game before they host Crystal Palace on August 11.
