The 2017 National Super League will go down as one of the toughest and a competitive one as far as promotion is concerned.

Winners Vihiga United and Wazito FC hit the 80 point mark, same as Ushuru and KCB. But how did the strikers perform?

Vihiga and KCB produced top scorers in Patrick Okullo and Simon Abuko, who scored seventeen goals each. Of the 17 goals, nine were scored from the penalty spot, with Okullo scoring five and Abuko four.

Ushuru's Benson Amianda scored sixteen, one more than Erick Kapaito of FC Talanta and two more than St. Josephs Adam Fadhili.

Other players who scored ten or more goals are Wazito's Piston Mutamba (13), Boniface Mukhekhe from GFE 105 (12), Nairobi City Stars' Ezekiel Omulo and GFE's Zeka Wakoli who scored eleven goals each.

Oscar Mbugua of Ushuru and Victor Omune of Nairobi Stima were other strikers who hit a double digit having scored ten goals each.
