Hadebe will prove his quality at Kaizer Chiefs, says AmaZulu coach Antipas

AmaZulu head coach Joey Antipas has backed new Kaizer Chiefs central defender Teenage Hadebe.

The accomplished tactician worked with the 21-year-old player at Zimbabwean Premier Soccer League (ZPSL) side Chicken Inn.

Hadebe has now joined Antipas in South Africa after impressing the Chiefs technical team while on trial almost a year ago.

"Teenage is a professional player. He is very tall, he can play the ball when it is at his feet," Antipas told Isolezwe.

"He is calm and composed. He is very useful from corner-kicks and free-kicks," he said.

The 2015 ZPSL title winning coach believes that Hadebe will prove his quality once he has settled down at Amakhosi.

"Hadebe needs some time to settle down at Chiefs because the South African league is different from the Zimbabwean league," he stressed.

"People will soon see that he is a quality player," he concluded.
