Gor Mahia just needs three wins to retain the Kenyan Premier League title

Gor Mahia have moved their home match against Chemelil Sugar to Nakuru.

The tie was set to be staged at Kenyatta Stadium on Thursday, but it will now be held at the Afraha Stadium in Nakuru County.

“The game will kick-off at 2pm at the Afraha Stadium and not Machakos,” Gor Mahia CEO Omondi Aduda told Goal.

Gor Mahia just needs three wins from the remaining nine games to retain the Kenyan Premier League title, which will be a record 17th.

The match comes against the backdrop of an outcry by K'Ogalo's technical bench for KPL to postpone some of their games.

KPL have however, turned down the appeal made by coach Dylan Kerr, who has played four games in the last couple of days. Gor Mahia took their point tally to 62 following a 3-1 victory over Kakamega Homeboyz on Monday, in Kisumu.
