Gor Mahia coach Dylan Kerr is happy with the recovery process of defender Wellington Ochieng, who has rejoined the team.
Ochieng, who has been out of action for the last three months, joined his teammates in Nakuru where they have been engaged in the Super Cup tournament after shaking off a knee injury.
“It’s good to have Wellington back to the team. He is a great player with an attitude of a winner."
Ochieng has been out of action since March after picking a knee injury against Sofapaka at Kenyatta Stadium.
“lt really feels good to be back to the team. l missed this family. I feel at home and l am just working hard to get my form and fitness back,” the defender told the club website.
Ochieng’ is aware it won’t be easy for him but he is determined to work and be at his best.
“It’s not easy after that lay off. l am not that fit like my mates but l am focused on working hard to get back to my best. l know there is competition for positions in the team but that’s a healthy competition which is good and I accept it. l am always ready for such.”
