Ghana's Kadiri Mohammed opens Austria Wien goals account in Arsenal Tula draw

Kadiri Mohammed scored his first goal for Austria Wien as they held Russian Premier League side Arsenal Tula to a 2-2 draw in a preseason friendly.

Having bowed 3-0 to Shakhtar Donetsk on Thursday, Thomas Letsch’s men took the initiative in the 23rd minute through the Ghanaian.

Notwithstanding the lead, Arsenal Tula cruised to get the lead thanks to Sergey Tkachev’s second half brace in the 47th and 49th minutes.

Six minutes later, Thomas Salamon levelled matters for the Violets as results ended on a no winner, no vanquished state in Mollbrucke.

Mohammed joined Letsch’s side from Ashanti Gold SC in the Ghanaian Premier League. The defender would be hoping this goalscoring feat propel him when his side tackles Borussia Dortmund on Friday.

Austrian are hoping for an improved outing this season following their seventh place finish last term with 43 points from 36 outings.
