The 'Slum Boys' have conceded that they allowed Ingwe into the game in the second half of the entertaining match at Machakos

Mathare United's 100% unbeaten record was brought to a halt on Saturday after the team fell 4-3 to AFC Leopards in a match played at Kenyatta Stadium.

The Francis Kimanzi coached side twice went ahead, but bottled up to allow Ingwe into the game. The experienced tactician however, feels his change of tactics might have hurt his side, but at the same time he has praised Ingwe for an 'aggressive' second half.

“Leopards have played well, especially in the second half, they really pushed us into making mistakes and they capitalized on them. The match was entertaining, there were goals, but defensive lapses cost us dearly, especially late into the match.

“I also had to change my game plan after we lost Owino (David), but I also feel we were unlucky,” Kimanzi told Goal.

The ‘slum boys’ are still second on the log with eleven points after six matches.
