FKF announce transfer window dates as KPL set to resume in December

Teams in the top flight will be able to strengthen their squads when the transfer window opens at the end of this month

Kenyan Premier League clubs will be able to strengthen their squads when the transfer window officially opens at the end of this month.

With the 2018/19 season set to start on December 8, teams have minimal time to prepare for the same and FKF has acted swiftly to ensure a smooth running in terms of new signings.

A statement on the federation's official portal read, “the transfer window is slated to swing open on October 29, 2018, with the deadline set for January 4, 2019. The mid-season window, meanwhile, will open on March 11, and close on April 8, 2019.”

Kenya is streamlining its domestic leagues with the Europe calender as advised by Caf a couple of years ago. This will ensure international assignments do not affect the running of the league in any country under the world governing body.
