EXTRA TIME: New Bafana coach Baxter congratulated by his son

The two-time PSL title winning coach is expected to leave the Matsatsantsa coaching job at the end of the current season

SuperSport United coach Stuart Baxter has been congratulated by his son, Sean, after he was reappointed Bafana Bafana head coach.

The British tactician, who is currently in charge of SuperSport, was announced as the new Bafana coach for the second time last week.

Baxter served as the Bafana coach between 2004 and 2005. He quit this role having failed to qualify for the 2006 Fifa World Cup.

During his second tenure as national team coach, Baxter is set to guide Bafana in the 2018 Fifa World Cup and 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon) qualifiers.

His son took to Instagram to congratulate the 63-year-old tactician:
