EXTRA TIME: Moroccan club Youssoufia concedes penalty goal after celebrating with Balotelli style selfie

Youssoufia Berrechid and Mouloudia Oujda drew 1-1 in Moroccan league action in midweek, with the equaliser coming in the most bizarre fashion.

Firstly, Youssoufia player Mohammed El Fakih scored an amazing opener, which was so good that he felt it deserved a Mario Balotelli style selfie celebration.

His teammates joined the 29-year-old to help upload the celebration to Instagram, just like the Marseille striker 'Super Mario' did in Ligue 1.

In laughable fashion, the Oujda players had already restarted the game. Then Youssoufia's players ran back on to stop a clear run on goal, but a foul led to the referee pointing to the spot straight away.

Berrechid and his teammates got egg on their faces for two counts. Firstly, their goal was levelled in a matter of minutes and secondly, their Instagram celebration didn't go through online.

One can watch the funny turn of events on Twitter here.

The selfie trend was made famous when Balotelli scored a bicycle kick for Marseille against Saint-Etienne last month.

Balotelli took the cameraman's phone, recorded a video and then posted it on Instagram with his teammates posing for the camera.

This is how it's done.

Balotelli's celebration didn't cost Marseille any points. In fact they scored another goal and beat Saint-Etienne 2-0.
