Coach David Ouma has named the starting team set to do duty in Starlets final qualifier of the First leg hero

Esse Akida has been named in the Harambee Starlets starting squad to take on Equatorial Guinea in the 2018 Africa Women Cup of Nations second leg qualifier.

Akida, who came off the bench to score the match winner in the first leg’s 2-1 win, replaced Sheryl Angachi in the starting squad. Teresa Engesha, who scored Starlets equalizer in the first leg, is also in line for a second cap.

Kenya came from behind to win 2-1 in the first leg match played on Wednesday at the Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos.

A simple draw will guarantee Kenya her second appearance in the continental showpiece, set to be held from November 2018.

The match is set to kick off at 7 pm EAT.

Starting XI: Poline Atieno (GK), Wendy Achieng (C), Lilian Adera, Dorcas Shikobe, Elizabeth Ambogo, Corazone Aquino, Cheris Avilia, Esse Akida, Neddy Atieno, Mwanahalima Adam, Teresa Engesha.

Reserves: Maureen Shimuli, Doris Anyango, Phelistus Kadari, Vivian Nasaka, Faith Kwamboka, Mercy Achieng, Sheryl Angachi.
