English Premier League Best Bet for Last Place

Wolverhampton Wanderers (+370)

The Wolves currently sit at the bottom of the Premier League table with 10 points and a record of 2-4-9.

Julen Lopetegui is tasked with managing a club that has won fewer matches than any other side while scoring the fewest goals (eight). The Wolves sacked Bruno Lage in October after a 2-0 defeat to West Ham, with interim manager Steve Davis losing five of his seven matches while in charge.

The Wolves lost striker Saša Kalajdžić to a season-ending injury early on, and the Diego Costa experiment has yet to pay dividends.

English Premier League Contenders To Finish Bottom-4

Nottingham Forest (+220)

Steve Cooper’s side is the betting favorite to finish at the bottom of the Premier League table, sitting in 18th place with a record of 3-4-8.

Forest managed to secure just five points in their five ten matches of the season.

It will not get any easier after the World Cup break, with showdowns with Manchester United and Chelsea on the docket. However, this team is starting to form a bit of rapport after beginning the campaign with 22 new players.

AFC Bournemouth (+250)

For the time being, Gary O’Neil has managed to clear the Cherries from the relegation zone, sitting in 14th place with a 4-4-7 record.

O’Neill was unbeaten during his first six games as the club’s caretaker but then went on a four-match losing streak.

The club should start to show signs of stabilization following the completion of Bill Foley’s takeover. Still, the Cherries will face a tough test with matches against Manchester United, Crystal Palace, and Chelsea waiting for them out of the break.

It should be noted that Bournemouth showed signs of improvement before the break, collecting seven points in four matches that included a victory over Liverpool.

Southampton (+650)

New manager Nathan Jones started his tenure with a 3-1 defeat to Liverpool at Anfield.

The Saints have been gifted with a soft schedule between Boxing Day and mid-February, which should indicate which direction this club is likely to go.
