Gor Mahia coach Dylan Kerr now says he will be very happy to clinch the title against AFC Leopards on Saturday.

K’Ogalo is seventeen points clear at the top of the table, above second and third placed Bandari FC and Ingwe respectively, who are tied on 48 points. A win for the champions against Sofapaka on Wednesday, will leave them needing a point when they host AFC Leopards to be crowned.

The Briton coach has told Goal that they will do everything to beat Batoto ba Mungu so that they get the chance to seal the title in front of their bitter rivals on Saturday.

“We can move close to the title today (Wednesday) if we get the three points. That is the challenge I have set to those players, who will play and the big incentive is to play AFC Leopards in front of our fans and take the title, that is my challenge to them.

“We know Sofapaka are prepared for this match more than us, because they have had time to rest and maybe rectify their undoing, but I am optimistic of a good outing for us.”

The first leg between the two sides ended in a three all draw.
