Dundee vs Rangers: TV channel, stream, kick-off time, odds & match preview

Graeme Murty takes charge of his fourth Rangers game of the season on Friday evening as the Glasgow side head north to Dundee.

The interim boss has overseen two wins and a loss so far during his time in temporary control and has called for those in charge at the club to make a decision on his future either way.

"I said at the start when I came in that I don't think about my status or my role," he said in the build-up to Friday's fixture. "That hasn't changed and my outlook hasn't changed at all. It would be good for all involved if we had someone in place, whether that be me or someone else."

GAME PREVIEW

Celtic RangersGetty

The mood in the stands at Ibrox is quickly changing from defiance to apathy, with last week's 2-0 home defeat to Hamilton a turning point for sections of the support.

The club currently sit in fourth in the Scottish top flight, nine points behind leaders Celtic and three behind second-place Aberdeen.

Rangers outspent the rest of the division by some margin over the summer, excluding Old Firm rivals Celtic, but have not yet seen the return on the pitch and are still without a permanent manager four weeks after the dismissal of Pedro Caixinha.

A trip to bottom-of-the-table Dundee is a welcome fixture for Murty and his team as they look to get back to winning ways.

Friday's hosts have won just one of their last 18 Scottish Premiership matches against Rangers (D2 L15); in fact, they've have won just three of the 29 matches they have played against Rangers in the top-flight (D4 L22), failing to score in 15 of those meetings.

While the tie looks to be a reasonably easy one for Rangers, they can take nothing for granted against Neil McCann's side whose home form is considerably stronger than their away.
