Gor Mahia can cage visiting Algerian side, USM Alger in the Caf Confederation tie on Wednesday, says the club Captain Haron Shakava.
To achieve that target, Shakava warns, Gor Mahia will have to play as a unit with a compact defense and midfielder and take up their chances up front.
“We have been playing many matches which have made it easy to approach big games.
"We are at home and as a team, we need to play as a unit because they are a good team and to achieve the best, we must be solid,” Shakava told the club's official portal.
K’Ogalo warmed up for the tie with a friendly match against English Championship side Hull City on Sunday.
The visitors are top of the Group D with three points followed by Gor Mahia and Rwanda Rayon Sports, both on one point apiece while Yanga of Tanzania are bottom with no point.
