Match Preview

Two on-loan Derby youngsters have been granted permission to play against the Blues, their parent club, in the fourth round of the competition at Stamford Bridge.

The duo have been in fine form for Lampard's side so far this season, with Mount scoring five goals in all competitions, including in the first two rounds of the Carabao Cup, and Tomori scoring in the 2-0 win against Oldham Athletic.

The defender has made one senior appearance for the Blues, playing 30 minutes in a 2016 draw against Leicester City, while Mount has yet to play for the first team – and both players are relishing the opportunity to face their parent side.

Mount said: "It is a weird feeling, we spoke about it, we didn't think we would be able to play, but we're looking forward to it.

"It's a game you want to play in but it does have a weird feeling because that's our parent club and we're playing against them, so it's different, but we're definitely ready for it."

Despite Derby's heroics against Manchester United, Chelsea are still favourites to progress in the tie, with Sarri's men sporting an unbeaten record this season – sitting third in the league table and having beaten Liverpool at Anfield in the previous round.
