Benjamin Moukandjo extends goalscoring run in Chinese Super League

The Cameroonian forward helped his side salvaged a point with his fourth consecutive goal in the Chinese Super League on Sunday

Benjamin Moukandjo was on target as Beijing Renhe were held to a 1-1 draw by Shandong Luneng at the Jinan Olympic Sports Center Stadium on Sunday.

The 30-year-old scored his fourth successive goal and equalled his 2017 league tally with seven goals in 14 matches this term.

Moukandjo fired Luis Garcia's men ahead after linking up with Mali’s Makhete Diop to break the deadlock the in the 37th minute.

But Diego Tardelli drew the hosts levelled as both sides settled for a share of the spoils.

The stalemate leaves Beijing Renhe in seventh place with 30 points from 24 games. They take on Henan Jianye next on Friday.
