Battle of the Brands: Adidas and Budweiser clash in heavyweight final

We asked you which brands were making the biggest impression around this year’s festival of football and now you must select the winner

Over $2.5 billion has been spent on advertising throughout the World Cup. Brands from around the globe threw everything they had at it, desperate to ensure they were the ones you remembered.

Over the course of the tournament, Goal has been asking you which brand has been the most successful.

And from the top 20 brands, we have whittled it down to the last final pairing: Adidas vs Budweiser


ADIDAS - PAINTING THE TOWN


Adidas have been telling the remarkable personal story of Brazil star Gabriel Jesus, who was leading the line for the five-time world champions in Russia before coming up against the formidable Belguim. Four years ago, he spent the World Cup painting the streets of Sao Paulo. Come 2018, he was the one being painted.


BUDWEISER - MEET THE KINGS


Budweiser, meanwhile, asked for fans to send in their best reactions to the football during the tournament. With the ups and downs of this breath taking competition so far, there have been some memorable reactions shared.
