Bandari FC are set to hold two-day open trials as the Dockers seek to strengthen their squad ahead of the 2018/19 Kenyan Premier League season.

Bandari had an excellent season last campaign that saw them finish second behind Gor Mahia; the best ever ranking by any club from the Coast in the top tier and it seems Bernard Mwalala wants to continue with the new found form with the Mombasa based side.

The club will conduct the tryout between October 26th and 28th at the Mbaraki Sports Club.

Interestingly, Mwalala, formerly with Nzoia Sugar, has been given a blank ‘cheque’ to sign anyone, who will impress him during the open trials.

“There was no limit set as to how many players the club will be signing. That will depend with the coach,” the club’s Media Liaison Officer Steven Heywood told Goal.

Bandari lost one game in the second leg last season.
