Chimanya is the first foreign player to have signed for Ingwe from outside the KPL this season

AFC Leopards have raided Zambian Premier League for the services of Shadreck Chimanya.

Chimanya joined Ingwe on a two -year deal from Nchanga Rangers. The Zambian international, who has four caps with Chipolopolo, scored eight goals for Nchanga Rangers and seven assists in the just ended season.

The midfielder, who turned out for Chipolopolo during the reigns of Coach Herve Renard, is the first foreign player to have signed for Ingwe from outside the KPL this season.

Nicola Kavazovic side had earlier signed Clerk Achuka, Joshua Mawira and Isaac Kipyegon, who penned a three-year deal from Zoo FC.

Meanwhile, Whyvonne Isuza, Robinson Kamura and Salim Abdalla have all extended their contacts but Ingwe lost their captain Duncan Otieno to Nkana FC.
