UAE's Al Wahda have not had the best of time in the 2018 AFC Champions League, losing their first three games. But they managed to net their first win of the campaign this week when they defeated Iran's Zobahan 3-0 at home.
They kept alive their chances of qualifying for the next round, thanks to their 33-year-old striker Sebastian Tagliabue.
The Argentinian striker opened the scoring for Al Wahda by sweeping home from Balazs Dzsudzsak's intelligent free-kick. He was a threat all throughout the game with his intelligent passing and movement.
The 33-year-old's opener came from two shots on target, three in total, and was one of 28 touches registered. Tagliabue also tallied 17 passes, one of which was a key pass.
Ultimately, Tagliabue's sensational performance sees him named as this week's Goal's Asian Player of the Week!
