OFFICIAL: Almeria Sign Diego Valeri & Miguel Angel Luque

The Andalucians have furthered reinforced their squad.
Spanish Primera Division side Almeria have competed the signings of Diego Valeri and Miguel Angel Luque. While Valeri comes on loan, Luque arrives to the Estadio del Mediterraneo on a free transfer.

Valeri arrives on loan from Portuguese giants Porto and is a former Lanus player. The midfielder is just 24 years of age and promises to be a good acquisition for the Andalucian club. He has been compared by some to Argentine great Juan Roman Riquelme because of his playing style.

Luque played for Barcelona B last season under Luis Enrique Martinez. The 19-year-old also has experience of playing with the Villarreal youth team and has been signed for free on a two-year contract with an option to extend it to a third year.

Goal.com Spain quotes the teenager as saying: "I will work hard and with humility to reciprocate the trust they have placed [in me]. I want to get the coach's confidence and take advantage of the opportunity."

Almeria have also recruited striker Leo Ulloa and Danish defender Michael Jakobsen, besides recalling defender Carlos Garcia from his loan spell at Real Betis.
