Things went from bad to worse for Rafa Benitez's Inter Milan with a 2-1 defeat at Chievo in Serie A this afternoon.
And it now seems certain that things will be even more bleak for the Nerazzurri in the coming days with Samuel Eto'o set to be suspended for three games after chest-butting Slovenian defender Botjan Cesar.
The incident came about in the 38th minute of the match. Eto'o scuffled with Cesar and after the Cameroon striker had steadied himself he went head first into Cesar's chest.
Of course, as the Italian commentators point out straight away, it is impossible not to recall Zinedine Zidane's famous sending off in the 2006 World Cup final in Berlin on Marco Materazzi.
The only difference was that Eto'o was not even booked by the referee and even went on to score a consolation goal in injury time.
