Injury Doubts Over Lazio's Pandev Subside Ahead Of Final

The 25-year-old has shaken off an injury in time for the match at the Stadio Olimpico.
It seems that Goran Pandev will be at the disposal of Lazio coach Delio Rossi for the Coppa Italia final this evening against Sampdoria, despite lingering injury doubts.

The Macedonian picked up a knock to his thigh last week in training and sat out the 3-1 loss to Udinese on the weekend, but has recovered in time for the domestic cup match, according to Sampdorianews.it. Pandev has been a key figure for the Biancocelesti in the competition, scoring four times.

Meanwhile, Rossi looks set to reinsert Pasquale Foggia into the starting XI at the expense of Simone Del Nero on the left wing and Cristian Brocchi will take the place of the suspended Matuzalem in central midfield.

Sampdoria boss Walter Mazzarri will start star duo Antonio Cassano and Giampaolo Pazzini up front and put out his usual line-up with Antonio Palombo in the centre of a five-man midfield.

The probable line-ups are listed below.

Lazio (4-4-2): Muslera, Lichtsteiner, Siviglia, Rozenhal, Kolarov, Brocchi, Dabo, Ledesma, Foggia, Pandev, Zarate

Sampdoria (3-5-2):
Castellazzi; Campagnaro, Lucchini, Accardi; Raggi, Sammarco, Palombo, Franceschini, Pieri; Cassano, Pazzini
