Smalling infuriates Man Utd fans with costly error frenzy

The 26-year-old was at fault for both of Chelsea's goals and Red Devils fans everywhere took to Twitter to voice their displeasure.

Manchester United endured a nightmare start to Sunday's Premier League clash with Chelsea, going down 2-0 inside the first 21 minutes following a pair of Chris Smalling errors.

The defender first allowed Pedro to get past him far too easily for the Blues' first goal, before then failing to perform his marking duties properly as Gary Cahill doubled the home side's lead.

It was little surprise that Smalling drew the ire of United fans on Twitter as they universally derided the 26-year-old for his inept performance.
