Blackpool captain Charlie Adam has reportedly been nominated to be in the shortlist for the PFA Player of the Year award.
The winner will of the award will be announced on April 17, and the Daily Mail claims that the Scotland international has been voted into a six-man shortlist to win the honour.
It has also been reported that Tottenham winger Gareth Bale, Arsenal's Samir Nasri, Carlos Tevez of Manchester City, Manchester United centre-back Nemanja Vidic and West Ham United's Scott Parker are the other five players to have been nominated.
Adam has scored 10 goals in 28 appearances in all competitions for Blackpool, and has been linked with moves to Liverpool, Manchester United, Tottenham and Aston Villa.
