Report: Manchester United Look To Buy Real Madrid's Karim Benzema In The Summer

Manchester United are preparing to bring Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema to Old Trafford during the summer.

It's believed the Spanish giants are looking to loan out the Frenchman next season and the Red Devils could take advantage and buy him at a reduced price.

With Gonzalo Higuain playing some great football for Madrid, Benzema has been unable to find a consistent first-team berth during his first season, following his £30 million transfer from Lyon.

Sir Alex Ferguson offered the French club £20m for the 22-year-old France international, but the offer was repelled when Real offered more and were able to sign the talented young forward.

With reports suggesting that Benzema could be loaned out in order to get more pitch minutes, United are looking to swoop in and acquire the starlet, according to The Mirror.

Italian giants AC Milan have already declared their interest in the Frenchman, and it could be a battle between United and Milan for Benzema.
