Leonardo: Paris Saint-Germain will not sell Nene

The Brazilian has remained adamant that his compatriot will not be leaving Parc des Princes this summer and that the club has yet to receive an offer.
Paris Saint-Germain sporting director Leonardo has revealed that the club has received no offers for Nene, and insisted that the Brazilian is not for sale.

The former Monaco player had been reported to be attracting interest from Istanbul giant Galatasaray, but the 42-year-old has now moved to dispel such rumors.

"We have not received a single offer. He is not for sale," the former Inter coach wrote in his column for L'Equipe.

Nene will be keen to stay with the Parisians, having recently voiced his belief that the club can challenge the best teams in Europe next season, expecting a strong run in the Champions League as well as winning Ligue 1.

The 30-year-old is fresh from his most prolific season to date at Parc des Princes last season, netting 21 league goals in 35 appearances that saw him finish joint-top of the Ligue 1 scoring charts, alongside Olivier Giroud.
