Real Madrid's Kaka denies Paris Saint-Germain reports

UPDATED: Wednesday, 11:45 a.m. ET

Kaka has denied Italian reports that he is leaving Real Madrid this month after reaching an agreement with Paris Saint-Germain.

"It is not true that I have made any agreement with another club," Kaka said on Twitter. "I am totally focused on following my personal and collective goals at Real Madrid."

La Gazzetta dello Sport, an Italian newspaper, claims that the two clubs have agreed on a deal worth 25 million euros, with the transfer contingent on Kaka hashing out personal terms with PSG.

The French club has been linked with Kaka in recent times, but it had always been suggested that Madrid was unwilling to sell the Brazil international, who has struggled for fitness and form since joining the club in 2009.

PSG coach Carlo Ancelotti stated on Tuesday that he had not given up on landing Kaka, whom he coached during his time in charge of AC Milan, but hinted at a summer swoop for the 29-year-old.

The Ligue 1 leader remains keen to bolster its squad after failing to lure Alexandre Pato from Milan earlier in the month.
