Official: Inter signs Lorenzo Tassi from Brescia

The Italian teenager has signed terms with Gian Piero Gasperini's men, after being dubbed 'the new Roberto Baggio', and will now look to hone his burgeoning talent at San Siro
Inter has continued its transfer deadline day raid by confirming the arrival of Brescia wonderkid Lorenzo Tassi.

The 16-year-old only made his debut for the recently-relegated Serie B side in May against Fiorentina, but he has shown enough promise and potential at youth level to prompt a transfer to the Milanese giants.

It is expected that he will not be thrown into the spotlight just yet, but rather the club's Primavera set-up, as general manager Marco Branca is keen to protect him from the excessive pressures of high-level football.

Tassi, an attacking midfielder who is also capable of playing in attack, is regarded as one of Italian football's most exciting young prospects, earning frequent comparisons to ex-Brescia favorite Roberto Baggio, due to their similar playing styles.
