Mexico will play the Netherlands in a World Cup tune-up, El Tricolor's penultimate friendly before departing for South Africa next spring, according to reports.
El Tri will play the Dutch in Innsbruck, Austria, on May 26, according to Mexico daily Reforma.
The match will be one of three games Mexico will play in Europe ahead of the World Cup. The other dates Mexico will likely play on are on the 23rd and 30th of May, and possible opponents include England and Germany.
Mexico were drawn into Group A of the World Cup and will play South Africa in the opening match of the tournament before playing France and Uruguay. The Netherlands, meanwhile, are in Group E along with Denmark, Japan and Cameroon.
Mexico and the Netherlands met in a friendly on the eve of the 2006 World Cup, a match won by the Netherlands 2-1.
