Costa Rica releases roster for World Cup qualifier against USA

MLS standouts Alvaro Saborio and Jairo Arietta join on-loan Arsenal forward Joel Campbell and Fulham's Bryan Ruiz to headline Los Ticos' roster for the March 22 qualifier.
Costa Rica will not be lacking in the attack when it faces the United States in the next match during the CONCACAF World Cup qualifying hexagonal later this month.

Fulham's Bryan Ruiz, Arsenal's Joel Campbell (on loan at Betis in Spain), Real Salt Lake's Alvaro Saborio and Columbus Crew's Jairo Arrieta will headline Los Ticos' attack when they meet the USA at Dick's Sporting Goods Park in Commerce City, Colo., on March 22 before returning home to face Jamaica on March 26 at Estadio Nacional.

Other players of note who were called in by Costa Rica manager Jorge Luis Pinto include Everton defender Bryan Oveido and New York Red Bulls left back Roy Miller.

Costa Rica has one point in World Cup qualifying thus far after playing Panama to a 2-2 draw in February. Here is Costa Rica's 23-man roster for the upcoming matches:
