Sergio Aguero helps finance new Independiente training centre

The Rojo fanatic plans to return to Argentine football when his Manchester City deal expires in 2019, a plan he repeated while visiting a new complex alongside Gabi Milito.
Sergio Aguero has visited a new training center he helped finance for boyhood idols Independiente, as he reiterated his desire to rejoin the Argentine club.

The Manchester City forward teamed up with fellow Rojo alumnus Gabriel Milito to pay for the new High-Performance Centre in Villa Dominica, close to the team stadium in Avellaneda.

As he took a tour of building works on the site, Aguero repeated his promise to come back to the club sooner rather than later.

"I have already said that when my contract in England is up I am coming back to Independiente," he told reporters, referring to his current deal at the Etihad Stadium which expires in 2019.

"I want to finish my career here".

Milito, who ended his playing days in Avellaneda and also spent time as youth-team coach at the club, also revealed his delight at the progress in the new project.

"This work is a dream come true for me. Hopefully in a month we can open it," he said.
