Kaka replaces Douglas Costa on Brazil roster

The Orlando City midfielder missed the cut but has been added to replace the injured Bayern Munich midfielder.

Orlando City midfielder Kaka is headed to the Copa America Centenario after all.

The former Ballon d'Or winner missed the initial call-up but was named as the replacement for Douglas Costa. Kaka is eligible as he was named to Brazil manager Dunga's 40-man provisional roster. The Bayern Munich midfielder had to withdraw from the tournament with a muscular injury.

Brazil plays a friendly against Panama on Sunday in the Denver area before beginning its campaign against Ecuador on June 4. The Selecao then play Haiti and Peru.

Kaka has 91 Brazil caps, scoring 29 goals in his international career.
