Inter striker Goran Pandev says his match-winning goal against Bayern Munich in the Champions League on Tuesday evening was the most important of his career.
The Macedonia international scored in the 87th minute to secure the reigning champions' progression to the quarter-finals of the competition.
"Football is a strange thing, and I believed we could get a result in the end," the forward told Sky Sport. "The match was decisive and we played a great second half.
"I am very happy for the fans and the club, as they deserved to see Inter progress to the quarter-finals.
"The goal was the most important of my career, even more than the goal in the Club World Cup final. I dedicate it to all my family, my team-mates, the club and the fans who have always believed in me, and I have repaid them.
The 27-year-old always had faith in his team-mates that they could claim victory.
"After the first half, no one believed in us," he continued. "Only we believed in ourselves because we are Inter."
