Milan midfielder Mathieu Flamini has revealed he apologized to Tottenham's Vedran Corluka over a two-footed challenge the Frenchman made against him in their Champions League encounter.
The Frenchman went to the Spurs' change rooms and personally apologized to the Croatian international for his crunching tackle.
"I went to the Totenham dressing rooms to see the physical condition of Corluka and to apologize," Flamini told Sky Sports after the match. "It is a shame that we lost, as we had a good second-half.
"Now, we must go to London to win. We can do so away from home, as we created many scoring occasions.
"We deserved to win based on our second-half performance," concluded Flamini.
The English club will take a one-goal lead into the second leg.
