Schalke striker Raul has joined Milan hitman Filippo Inzaghi as the top European goalscorer of all time after finding the back of the net Tuesday evening against Valencia in the Champions League.
The 33-year-old netted the equalizer in the 64th minute for his 70th goal in European club competitions.
Raul has played 139 matches in Europe, including 132 for former club Real Madrid, where he scored 66 goals.
The match finished in a 1-1 draw at the Mestalla with the return leg slated for March 9.
