Former United States boss Bob Bradley is now awaiting a formal offer from the Egyptian FA after the two sides had successful talks, Goal.com has learned.
"Bob's meetings in Cairo with the EFA went very well and we are awaiting a formal offer," revealed Bradley's agent Ron Waxman to Goal.com via email.
Bradley had been in Egypt's capital over the past week and immediately became the frontrunner for the position after several positive interviews with the North African national team.
Egypt currently sits four spots below the U.S. at the 34th spot and has previously won the African Cup of Nations. If Bradley has a successful tenure with the side, it could open up doors for other American coaches to accept positions abroad.
