Americans On The Continent: On Display

In what was viewed by many as an audition for his potential new club Saint Etienne, Carlos Bocanegra started and played the full 90 away to Les Verts in a 0-0 draw.  Bocanegra made his second appearance in a row in the Coupe de France as Rennes easily defeated lower-division Saumur 4-0.
