Mexicans Abroad: Guardado On A Hot Streak

For the second straight week, ‘El Principito’ Guardado highlights the Mexicans Abroad Goal.com section, as he continues scoring and in outstanding form for Dépor.

As the year comes to an end, the list of Mexicans abroad is slowly waning down as South and North American competitions are coming to an end, and some lower European leagues break for the winter months.

In Spain, Rafa Márquez continues to be a right-hand man for Pep Guardiola in Barça's impressive run in both La Liga and Champions.  Guardado has scored in three of the past four games and counts with Galician fan support who week-after-week vote for him as the best performer for Dépor.

In England, Arsene Wenger gave Carlos Vela the nod to start in the Champions League match against Dynamo Kiev.

In Germany, Pardo and Osorio appear to be part of the plans of new Stuttgart boss Markus Babbel, as they had full participation in the midweek UEFA cup draw at Sampdoria and in the weekend Bundesliga victory over Shalke 04.

Elsewhere, goalkeeper Sergio Ramírez and FC Ararat of Armenia ended their season in second place and earned a UEFA cup berth.

And there will be a battle of Mexicans in El Salvador’s Primera División, when Arturo Albarrán and Águila face  Chalatenango with José Luis Osorio and Manuel García in the semifinals.
