WATCH: Carli Lloyd hits laser into top corner against Switzerland

There are plenty of fresh faces as the U.S. national team turns its focus toward the 2019 Women's World Cup, but one at least thing has remained the same: Carli Lloyd can still hit a highlight reel-worthy goal.

That's what the U.S. captain did in a 5-1 win over Switzerland on Sunday in Minneapolis, netting a 25th-minute equalizer by picking out the top corner with a blast from 30 yards out.

Lloyd gave the U.S. the lead with a 51st-minute strike before Christen Press, Crystal Dunn and Kealia Ohai added gloss to the scoreline at U.S. Bank Stadium.

Ohai's goal came in the 82nd minute, less than a minute after she had come on for her international debut — just as U.S. teammate Lynn Williams did in Wednesday's 4-0 win over Switzerland.
