Eight teams remain alive in the hunt for the MLS Cup after the midweek knockout matches, and each team now knows who it must face.
After the Seattle Sounders victory in their Western Conference knockout game against Sporting Kansas City, the Sounders will take on Supporters' Shield winners FC Dallas. The other Western Conference game will pit the No. 2 seed Colorado Rapids against the LA Galaxy, which won 3-1 over Real Salt Lake to move into the conference semifinals.
On the Eastern Conference side of the bracket, Montreal's win over D.C. United means the No. 5 seed Impact face the conference champion New York Red Bulls. Toronto FC's win over the Philadelphia Union on Wednesday puts TFC up against New York City FC.
The lower seed hosts Sunday's first legs with the higher seed hosting the second legs Nov. 6. The times for the second legs are still to be determined, but Sunday's slate is set. The first two matches will be televised on ESPN with FS1 carrying the latter two.
