The New England Revolution announced that they have signed defender Otto Loewy.
“Otto performed well during his trial with us in Georgia,” Revolution Vice President of Player Personnel Michael Burns said. “He’s a strong player and will provide added depth along our backline this season.”
Loewy was a standout player in four seasons at Winthrop University starting 79 times, scoring five goals and tacking on 11 assists in his career. Due to a leg injury he suffered in the NCAA tournament, Loewy was unable to participate in the 2010 MLS combine.
