Thanks for joining our commentary this afternoon. Until next time, goodbye.
RB Leipzig end their Bundesliga campaign on the road to Augsburg next week, while Dortmund host Hoffenheim.
Borussia Dortmund will finish second in the Bundesliga this season courtesy of their 2-0 win over RB Leipzig this afternoon. Erling Haaland put the visitors ahead in the first half with a crisp finish from close range after latching onto a sublime offload from Giovanni Reyna. Haaland was denied a second by the crossbar after the interval. It was not to matter as they secured their victory in stoppage time as the Norwegian guided a low cross from Julian Brandt into the back of the net with the aid of a Amadou Haidara deflection.

Dortmund have made two changes to their side that was beaten by Mainz in the week. Sancho is dropped to the bench as Favre opts to re-shuffle his side. Brandt moves into the final third alongside Haaland and Hazard, while Reyna comes into the midfield for his first league start. Morey replaces Achraf Hakimi on the right flank.
Leipzig have made four changes to their side that drew during the week against Fortuna Dusseldorf. Upamecano and Mukiele come into the back four, while Forsberg and Schick start in the final third. Konrad Laimer misses out, while Olmo, Nkunku and Adams drop to the bench. Werner retains his place, despite his impending move to Chelsea.

Dortmund will have been disappointed that they once again failed to beat out Bayern for the title. Die Schwarzgelben surrendered meekly during the week, suffering a 2-0 home loss at the hands of Mainz. It ended a run of three-straight victories, but the manner of their performance will have concerned Lucien Favre. He will be looking for a stronger outing in response from his team this afternoon.
Both Leipzig and Dortmund have missed out on the crown to Bayern Munich, who wrapped up the title during the week for the eighth year on the bounce. Julian Nagelsmann's side can put pressure on Dortmund for second place with a victory this afternoon. However, they suffered a collapse at the hands of Fortuna Dusseldorf during the week, conceding two late goals to let a win slip through their grasp. Leipzig are unbeaten in 14 matches in all competitions, but will need to be stouter defensively to cope with their opponents.
Good afternoon and welcome to the live commentary of the Bundesliga clash between RB Leipzig and Borussia Dortmund at the Red Bull Arena.
