FULL TIME: PALESTINE 0 AUSTRALIA 3 - The Socceroos move into second in Group B after a 3-0 win over Palestine. The Socceroos started the second half holding a 2-0 lead. They dominated possession through the middle and always looked destined to score a third goal. They did just that and scored a 90th minute goal through a Giannou header to secure the points.
90' + 2' The Socceroos need a draw as a minimum from their final match to qualify into the next round.

90' GOAL AUSTRALIA (Apostolos Giannou) Palestine 0 Australia 3 - Ikonomidis whips in the corner and Giannou is in the right spot at the right time to nod it away for goal and into the back of the net to secure the three points.
89' Grant gives it over to Ikonomidis, as he whips in the shot on goal, but it comes off Battat and over the line for a corner kick.

HALF TIME: PALESTINE 0 AUSTRALIA 2 - Australia go into the half time break holding a 2-0 lead over Palestine. They opened their account in the 18th minute with a stunning header from MacLaren to find the back of the net. Two minutes later it was Mabil who was celebrating for the Socceroos. When Palestine run it through the middle, they have looked very dangerous, but at this stage, they haven't had a serious shot on goal.

43' The Socceroos have had seven shots on goal with three on target. Palestine have had two shots on goal with none on target.
41' MacLaren tees it up for Mabil inside the box, but he blasts it over the crossbar for a goal kick.
